Cold Spring, NY

Today marks the vernal equinox, but you’d never know it around here. There’s a chill wind blowing, and it’ll be down in the twenties tonight. Quite a contrast from San Diego, where I spent most of last week.

I blame that bloody groundhog.

    From wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groundhog_Day

    2006

    * 6 more weeks of winter — Dunkirk Dave, Punxsutawney Phil, Buckeye Chuck
    * Early Spring — Spanish Joe, Wiarton Willie, General Beauregard Lee, Staten Island Chuck,
Shubenacadie Sam, Jimmy the Groundhog, Malverne Mel, French Creek Freddie

I guess the majority party in Groundhog Congress is misled by … “Global Warming Theory”
