Careful With That Kielbasa, Eugene

Well, I promised you all some froth, and here it is. Tonight we have, courtesy of my childhood friend Nick Nicholes, who now lives in a scenic vale in remotest Montana, a polka band that does Pink Floyd covers, and pretty well too. No quadrophonic mixes, though; you’ll just have to use your imagination.

Didn’t I put those mp3s from Luther Wright and the Wrongs’s “rebuild the wall” on PubSub music server before? That’s the alternative country version. I am kind of interested in those reinterpretations of great work in different styles, that is fun. Early Jazz musician tended to improvise some pop songs. What I think the main point is to show how a piece of work can be in different style. Well, I am expecting to see a hip hop version of the wall.

    Hi Eugene,

Hope you didn’t take that title too personally: you may recall an old Floyd tune involving your name and an axe…
