I've spent most of my time in DC as an anti-war protester. I have distrusted the representitives of our Gov. for most of my adult life. I see a pretty serious change taking place, in fact it has taken place. The notion that it is now doable for a "black" - (he is of mixed race which is even more telling of inteagration than being of any one race)... child to try to be pres is way past. One already has become pres, and we, the population of these crazy united states made it happen... I am overwhelmed with joyful emotions today! I just hope we can make this chance at real change bear some meaningful fruit... Long gone are the days of strange fruit! Amen! It was a real joy to watch.
