Thanks for that, JK. What stood out for me was the anecdote about the AWACS. What was done with that intelligence? Nothing whatsoever, it seems, which is utterly inexcusable.

The Muslims need to see actions from our country and not the usual talk talk talk, while Israel is continuing to kill Palestinian children in Gaza and the rest of the occupied territories, and daily taking away their private lands, just because the Old testament's God told them so. Weird God! Not just that, but whenever they fight back, we quickly jump on them and call them terrorists. doesn't our constitution call for men to protect their land by having the right to bare arms? What do we really expect from Palestinians to do really? just die maybe.

The Muslim world needs to see the US stopping using the "Veto" when the whole world condemns Israel for its unspeakable violations of human rights - there are over 11,000 Palestinians in Israeli prisons today. They also wish the US would educate Americans about the conflict "as is"; People are being kicked out of their homes and lands to make room for the new Russians, African Jew immigrants.

We in the west tend to look at people in the east including other faiths and groups, as if they are below us in the food chain, and they shouldn't have the same benefits we enjoy including prosperity and security. otherwise we are harassing N. Korea for having the only reason we are not invading it. They never used it, but we did. We need to change our foreign policy to have it reflect respect and justice, which both have been missing from our lingo for long time now, most urgently with towards the ever growing Muslim World.

That is my best assessment of what needs to happen. But it will not happen. It is not because Hamas rules Palestine but because, the often investigated(corruption charges), Netanyahu, rules Israel.
