    A little controversy in the comments at that site. Some believe the images have been doctored. I have to tell you, that’s what I thought too.

    Well, maybe, though I know these dramatic storms do occur out there; I saw something quite like this in Montana once myself. I’ll give the photographer the benefit of the doubt and assume the digital “enhancements” were along the lines of contrast, color balance, etc., and not cobbling things together in Photoshop.

    And even if they are artificial creations, they are fantastic visual images nonetheless.
