As you’ve probably heard by now, our second-term upstate Congressman, Republican Christopher Lee of New York’s western 6th District, has resigned after having been exposed, quite literally, by a woman to whom he had sent a half-naked picture of himself by way of Craigslist. (Mr. Lee is married, with a young child.)

Yeah, I saw this news and mentally went, “Haw haw!” Stupid, stupid, stupid. His exit from office is Darwin at work. Maybe we should get the other, more famous Christopher Lee to come over and kick this one’s ass.
Why on earth would he use his own name? His office says that his email was hijacked, but I’m not buying it.
Not that I care especially. He should stay a representative, and his wife should beat him publicly, or divorce him. I mean, people voted for him, so they should get what they voted for. Quitting because he’s embarrassed himself lacks integrity and grit. Well kind of like Sarah Palin, actually…
Whereas Mubarak’s clinging to the tit of power is now become shameful.
I feel sorry for this guy, because everybody else who was turned into a national laughingstock because of a sex scandal – whether it was Larry Craig, Mark Sanford, or Bill Clinton – at least was able to have sex first.
Christopher Lee never even met the woman in question, and will go down in history as the man who thought he was too sexy for his shirt.
I mean how many weeks ago did the guy take office?
Perhaps they should put in a Christopher Lee we can all admire (with his shirt on). Especially after getting snubbed in LOTR (no scouring of the Shire, and he should have been Gandalf anyway, and Ian McKellen Saruman)
