Road Trip

Here’s a video of a drive from Seattle to Maine, with a frame taken every 90 seconds.

Every American should drive across country. I’ve done it on Route 80 going West and 70 going East, but I’ve always wanted to take 90, which the videographers took. It’s the best way to see what an awesomely diverse country America is. Also, how much corn and wheat we grow. Quite a lot, as it turns out.

See the USA in your Chevrolet. Happy motoring!

Agreed. I’ve done it twice, in 1972 and 1973, and halfway and back in 1976. I’m itching to do it again.

America is a vast, fantastically varied place, and to really appreciate it you have to see it up close.

From the coal mines of Kentucky to the California sun, it’s an awesome experience. Land so flat, marbles don’t roll. Skies so blue, you’d think there isn’t a cloud anywhere on the planet. Amber waves of grain. I’ve been all around the world, but I’ve never seen anything as majestic as this.
