That Was Fun

We’re back, after a splendid trip.

Visiting Venice and Florence reminds one just how tall the West’s candle once stood, and on returning home it’s hard not to dwell on how very low it has burned. But that’s just the way of the world, I suppose.

Did I miss anything? I have a lot of catching up to do. We’ll be resuming normal operations shortly.

    Sorry, no pictures of food. (We ate so well that putting pictures of it online would be kind of like publishing a sex tape.)

    We did take a lot of photos, though. I’ll sort through them and maybe put up a few…

    Glad you had a good trip. I’ve been to Rome, but I always wanted to visit the Salsa di Pomodoros. I hear they are really nice this time of year.
