So! Paul Ryan it is. Good choice, I think. It tilts the centrist Romney’s ticket toward fiscal conservatism, and makes the choice in November crystal-clear.

Last night on Twitter, just after the choice was “leaked”, Jonah Goldberg tweeted:
“Joe Biden just soiled himself.”
Will Antonin tweeted back:
“Wait till he hears about the Ryan pick!”

I was not looking forward to debates.
But just thinking ’bout what’s sure to come flying outta Joe’s mouth gives me a reason to put fresh batteries in the remote.

An excellent choice. Paul Ryan strikes me as an honest, thoughtful, decent man who is sincere in his beliefs and a true public servant (i.e., he’s in politics because of the desire to do good things, and not for power or self-aggrandizement). While I disagree with him regarding just about everything, I respect him for his integrity and for having the courage of his deeply felt convictions.
