You’ve Been Warned

This little physics game is highly addictive.

Extremely so. I forced myself to quit after three levels, but could have continued a looooong time.

  3. Also on Level 17. Love the funky Jamiroquai-style soundtrack in the background.

  4. Just figgered out Level 17.

    1. Click the leftmost red box to get the wrecking ball to knock down the tower of blocks. This clears your flight path for the dummy.

    2. Click the next box over (second from the left) to release the wrecking ball. Time your release to let the ball drop into the chasm.

    3. Click 2 or 3 of the long, flat “platform” blocks that are supporting the rightmost square (the one attached to the string that’s holding the spring-loaded catapult). This action will cause the catapult to level out.

    4. Back at the top of the screen, click box #3 (third from the left) to get the dummy swinging to the right. When the dummy is swinging over the catapult, click on Box #4 to let the dummy drop onto the catapult.

    5. The dummy might slide along the catapult’s length. Once the dummy has slid about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way to the right, release the catapult, and the dummy ought to fly over the wreckage of the tower and into the chasm — home free!

Am currently on Level 22. Addictive, indeed.

Thanks Kevin. I thought the catapult was meant to hit the dummy while he is swinging!

I was also thrown off by the long thin blue rectangle on the top. I guess it’s unused.

I got 23. But I don’t think I did it right. I’m not using any of the stuff on the right side of the screen at all

  8. Dom,

“I thought the catapult was meant to hit the dummy while he is swinging!”

So did I. Took a few tries (well, OK, more than a few) to get it right in my noodle.

Left off at Level2 5 last night. Continuing on to 30 tonight!!

  9. Whoops: “Level2 5” = “Level 25”

    D’oh.

  11. Level 30 completed! It was all downhill after 17, wasn’t it. Some of the later levels required a good bit of hand/eye coordination, but little in the way of strategic thinking.

Very amusing. Thanks for the brief passe-temps, Malcolm.

You’re right, it was downhill. Did you ever see the Dyson vacuum cleaner game?

I can’t get it on my iPad, but I think that’s the sit.
