Can we stop saying “flat-screen TV” yet? You can’t even buy the other kind anymore.

    My dear old dad, in his 87th year and within a year of his death, once told me that the only place to buy shoes was at Wal-Mart. It was then that I realized that age-related dementia had crept into his deteriorating condition.
