As noted in these pages seven years ago, I’m a “fall guy“. It’s always been my favorite season.

    Neither party is serious about reducing spending or the debt, based on the assumption they can keep printing more money and other countries won’t come to collect what we owe.

    Autumn,the time when you reap what you have sown, definitely a fitting metaphor.

    The photos illuminate what’s at stake though.
