    Unlike so many artists of that era, Bowie had a sound mind. Wasn’t he also the first artist or at least one of a few who somehow made of his persona a commodity or a financial product? Something like a negotiable bond? I do remember something like that…I think.

    I worked on an album of Bowie’s back in 1986 (Never Let Me Down). He was one of the most intelligent, gracious and civilized people I ever met in the music business.

    His untimely death was a terrible, terrible loss.
