I’m Malcolm Pollack, a 53-year-old software developer and recording engineer living and working in New York City.

I enjoy reading, writing, introspective brooding, and chess, and seem to have a rather exceptional but completely useless gift for solving crosswords. I have also studied southern Chinese martial arts for the last thirty-four years or so, and taught for the last twenty-seven. I love music, and have modest skill at the guitar and the drums.
I am married, with a grown daughter and a son in college.
