I, also, was reminded of the Monty Python episode. Anyway, I’m glad that I’m not smart enough to succumb to the Riddle’s dire effects…

I remembered the Monty Python episode only after seeing the previous comments, but before reading the comments, I was reminded of one of the Bloom County (or maybe it was Outland) comic strips in which Bill the Cat and some other folks end up in a daze — with underwear on their heads — after having a cosmic realization re: the infinitesimal odds of any given person actually coming into existence. If I can find that strip online, I’ll be sure to link to it.
