    Some may have noticed (via news reports) that “…a naturalized American citizen from the Twin Cities ‘suicide attacked’ a target in Somalia…” and surmise that Galrahn’s post is a load of hooey.

    There are credible reports (I know, but it’s Somalia) that the intended target of the attack was in support of Islamist actions against the pirates.

    Of course the above doesn’t reference my assertion but it is safer for journalists to be on the ground in Afghanistan than in Somalia.
