Words Fail Me

It’s hard to know what to say on a day like today; the world just seems to be falling apart everywhere you look. Japan is barely breathing after a Trifecta of staggering catastrophes. The Mideast is in flames. Western civilization is slowly throttling itself. The once-great American nation, its citizens having learned that they can vote themselves money and import unlimited cheap labor, has borrowed and denatured itself into certain doom, and is now little more than a motley, multicultural mélange of squabbling factions rushing to snatch what remaining loot they can before the whole thing comes crashing down on their heads. The fish have all been hauled up from the oceans and eaten, and birds are falling from the sky. The stock market is plummeting earthward, and it looks like there won’t even be any football this year. Newt Gingrich is lining up against Sarah Palin for the privilege of losing to Barack Obama in 2012. Owsley is dead.

Whew! Let us lift our eyes skyward.
