  1. From the WSJ:

“Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi had until Friday promised the White House she’d remain neutral. But after the meeting she took to the floor to deliver a rambling speech that sounded off-the-cuff and encouraged Democrats to vote against a program called Trade Adjustment Assistance, or TAA. To understand how remarkable this surprise attack was, imagine Pearl Harbor as an inside job.”

Maybe Pelosi ain’t batshit crazy? Nah!

And maybe in about three years we’ll have an answer to why the past three years have yielded the deluge of lunatic news stories.

(Yeah I know “the past three years” may seem mighty arbitrary – but a feller simply has to go with some definable thing.)

    Ya gotta love Breitbart.

On Friday, after a long news week, the story of Rachel Dolezal hit the press, proving once again that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Well, Congressional Dems certainly don’t owe Obama anything. Better to step and fetch for big labor.

Better read it quick as I expect it’s taken down any moment.

According to Doležal, “Jesus Christ” is the witness on her birth certificate. Her mother believed in living off the land; they lived in the middle of nowhere.

As a child, Doležal and her family hunted their food with bows and arrows.

    (And what’s with that ž?)

    HJH,

As an American living in the United States, I feel that anyone (including batshit-crazy Pelosi) can believe, say, or do whatever the f*ck they want, so long as they do not infringe my own rights as guaranteed by our Constitution. Of course, they will have to live with the consequences of their actions that violate the rule of law of the United States.

  10. No disagreement here, TBH. I was helping JK with his link. I’m not sure of my post’s relevance to this thread, but I’m always ready to help anyone promote my blog posts.

Have you checked out my blog lately?

  12. BTW, HJH, my annoyance was directed at those people who have the audacity to try and impose their own beliefs on others, with a savagery not seen since … I can’t think of a comparable example.

That it happened it was a post of your’s a mere inconvenience.

Incidentally. Have you HJH looked at TBH’s site lately?

Can it possibly be that were Arkansas’ parents of the 60s magically transported to today’s Florida would all find themselves arrested?

HJH? I’m not “misremembering” Our Gang riding our bicycles down to Calico Rock, on the highway – trip taking nearing *all day* – then, the next day “we” weren’t all Wards of the State?

  23. JK, I did a lot of that sort of biking, though usually alone. I don’t recall that Calico trip, so I must not have been along.

Did you take Highway 9 south or ride from Viola south on Highway 223? The latter would have been more exciting – and have taken you more directly to Calico.

    Are you nuts?

Highway 9 south. Back in them days (in bicycling weather … heck anykind a weather) farmers a’toting a load a hay on a flatbed from the top of any of them 223 hills’d flattened any bunch of kids on bikes.

Not admittedly, out of any malicious intent or suchlike – simple gravity or inertia.

Which could be easily got bicyclin’ off that hill south into Wheeling then again off that hill down outta Oxford. And again down toward Fifty-Six crossin’ Piney Creek at lightspeed.

No need to bicycle down Highway 223 to get excitinment.

Apologies Malcolm. Feel free to take my comment down … unless it may serve a further purpose.

I got “kinda halfwit” girl/woman now I was involved with in the very early 80s is visiting. She got tired. The blood had to go somewhere.

Pray, if you can, her morning. Or (if it be quick) Mourn me.

I shall make every effort. The latter
