When The Student Is Ready, The Teacher Will Appear

Over at National Review, Kevin D. Williamson offers an astringent assessment of Donald Trump’s candidacy.

Interesting take on Himself. Every campaign appearance Himself makes will require 2 aircraft…one for Himself and his worshippers, the other for his ego.

I am shocked to find myself in agreement with Kevin Williamson. Porcine flying objects fill the air.

When thinking of Donald Trump, you won’t go wrong with floccinaucinihilipilification. There is nothing of value there.

When Trump bought the Gulf + Western building, his plan was to call it the Trump International Towers and Suites. He had to abandon the plan when someone pointed out to him that he couldn’t put the initials on the building.

    “floccinaucinihilipilification”

Below the Mason-Dixon line, that is impossible to pronounce and in some states, it may very well be illegal to do so in public.

I can’t think of a better Clyde-Piven, or more entertaining, 2016 election than Biden vs. Trump

I’ll take this rare opportunity to join you in agreement also, Peter.

I’m getting preliminary reports two individuals – one apparently a resident of Brooklyn NY, another “flaring” an IP in the vicinity of Silicon Valley CA, *suggested via internet-means* to Trump Campaign officials

Neil Young’s Rockin’ in the Free World would be the perfect tune to launch a campaign for President

Anybody commenting on this thread care to either, confirm my suspicions or maybe suggest simply shuttering further investigation altogether?

I think I read that Young asked for Donald not to use his song. I don’t blame him. “Fool on the Hill” might be better.

The Donald as you’re implying Whitewall, “requested permission”? Pre-use? And was responded to with a clear, concise “NO”?

In fairness, although I find the flamboyant narcissist and media hog Donald Trump deeply unappealing in many ways (not least of which is an aesthetic sense that makes Bob Guccione look like Alistair Cooke), I find myself in strong agreement with some of his remarks — and frankly I’d much rather see Mr. Trump in the White House than, say, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, or Rand Paul (all of whom we can count on to maintain the catastrophic tide of mass Third-World immigration). I’d certainly rather see him there than Barack Obama.
