   That is a nice photo….as I sit here drinking coffee and looking at it, I am convinced that I need to grab my fishing gear and warm clothes for a day of bass fishing. Gives me something to lie about afterwards.

   Oh Henry, Karl Marx was a loser, who mooched off of his family and his personal hygiene was so atrocious, that he was subject to boils. If my memory of “The Intellectuals” by Paul Johnson serves me right, he also got the maid pregnant – quite a role model for Utopia….

   It is not clear who actually got Helene Demuth pregnant. She did have an illegitimate son, but Friedrich Engels also claimed to be the child’s father.

   Perhaps they managed a threesome (English-French pun intended).

   Perhaps we could get some DNA tests done, though I doubt we’d get as gooey about Marx’s peccadilloes as the Left is about the interracial relationships of the Jefferson family.
