Didn’t Quite Catch The Name

Here’s an Indian tribe that, for some odd reason, I have the feeling I ought to do a post about. Can’t really say why, though.

    If you do plan a post here, you might read Marvin Harris’ “Cows, Pigs, Wars and Witches” that came out (I think) in the early 70’s. I remember finding out about “potlatch” in the text then (or thereabouts).

    I don’t rightly recall that Mr. Harris got the name right either however the general region, to the best of recollection, seems about right.

    The name does ring a bell . . . but for the life of me, I can’t quite recall either. Something also tells me that this blog might be of interest to that tribe . . . but, again, I can’t quite say why I think so.
