We’ve just had some very violent weather here in Brooklyn and other parts of Gotham. It all happened in the space of a few minutes, late this afternoon. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Many, many trees are down, cars smashed, etc., and I believe at least one person was killed.
There are photographs here. Many of them were taken only a few blocks from my house.

My my, Malcolm. Did the plates shift or something and send your neck of the woods veering toward Arkansas?
I sometimes look in on your area’s weather instument recordings, but I must say, I’ve never seen your air pressure vary so much so quickly.

I thought of you, Malcolm, when I heard about this possible tornado.
Glad you’re okay.
