    Very interesting. I feel sorry for the student dunce.

    The structure of the jokes–their brief, often rapid-fire nature–makes me wonder whether Mel Brooks’s Comicus the Stand-up Philosopher wasn’t too far off from the real thing. These jokes have the feel of stand-up about them.
