Interesting take. So the UK Parliament would shift almost seismically rightward while Scotland itself would shift radically leftward (maybe it’s not a shift, per se, as by many accounts the Scots are already deep, deep in left field).
I’ve been of two minds about this referendum, but for the most part I think I, too, want to see the “Yes” votes prevail, although not necessarily for the reasons that Mr. Land states.
