I see that the Times is laying off another hundred newsroom workers.

Take heart, though: good journalism will live on.

    I still have an online subscription — when you get away from anything with an ideological angle, the Times is still a fine outfit — but I certainly wouldn’t pay an extra $6 a month for their opinions, which are perfectly familiar to me by now.
