With a hat-tip to Bill V., here’s an amusing clip from Egypt.
I have no idea whether the subtitles are accurate, other than in the few spots I’m able to pick out a word or two. (Any Arabic speakers among you, readers?)

So, uh, the retired general called on Americans to launch a coup there at the end. That was like nothing I’ve ever seen before.
Arabic speaker. Sorry, no. But a pleasant diversion nonetheless, however fleeting.
Epicaric, you are saying that you speak Arabic, and the subtitles are not accurate?
Malcolm,
I apologize for the delay in response. Not to betray my anonymity, but yes, I do speak Arabic, and no, the subtitles do not correspond to the dialogue in the news clip, taken from Egyptian television. Only a bit of humor.
Having said that, there are many Arabs whose views may not differ too greatly from the constructed sentiment of this piece. Perhaps merely serendipitous, but the topic of the Egyptian news piece does concern issues relevant to US national security, I suppose, if the Islamic State’s adventures in Syria and Iraq, and the Libyan implosion can be considered relevant to our national security. Which I do not, beyond a strictly tangential nature.
