Even though we’ve only just reopened the storefront here, the business may be mostly shuttered again for the next couple of weeks — this weekend we are off to a musical retreat in the Isles of Shoals, and then we’ll be getting a firsthand look at the European situation for the rest of the month. There will probably be few opportunities for posting, but you never know.
Meanwhile, make free use of the soapbox here, browse our ten years’ worth of archived material, or give the Random link a try.

I take this to mean you’ll actually be traveling in Europe. If you hit France, please say hi to the Ducoulombier family in and around the Nantes area; if you’re in Switzerland, please pass along my best regards to the Thalmann diaspora in and near Fribourg.
You might not enjoy the Weltanschauung while you’re there, but do enjoy the food and the vistas. Safe travels!
Today is the anniversary of 9-11-2001. It looks like Senate Dems have given Obama and his Iraniam Mullah allies their “deal”. Not only do these Democrats betray their country by aiding Iran, they also ad the indignity of preventing a yes or no vote of disapproval that would force their traitor president to veto it. No wonder the Levant and North Africa are in flames. I guess this is their way of remembering 9-11. The Russians are moving into Syria to aid Iran’s puppet.
If the pending inspection of Europe includes a visit to south eastern Austria, take a peek in the city of Graz and see if the university still stands. I attended college there forty some years ago.

I hope the link works. This seems to be perfect example of invasion of Europe.
Great playing with you this past weekend. Hope we can do it again some time.
Al, it was a pleasure indeed. Thanks!
Kevin, I won’t be in France, I’m sorry to say. It’ll be Vienna and Istanbul.
Malcolm, well, that’s close.

Joe Bastardi has been a regular fixture on one of our local radio stations for many years. One of the station’s broadcasters even went “up there” to visit him one time.
