Just a few months ago we mentioned Judge Richard Leon, of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Back then we praised him for putting the kibosh on a sneaky little maneuver by the DOJ regarding voter ID.
Well, this patriotic magistrate deserves our kudos once again: he has just ruled against D.C.’s “shall issue” laws restricting concealed carry. Story here, ruling here.

Bit of a crusader he is, too.
It seems the threat to the Second Amendment by the Left is gaining steam, but so far Judges have held them off. A bad appointment to the SC can tip this ongoing effort in favor of anti 2nd amendment forces. Ultimately all governments want their peasants unarmed, so the fight continues.
I believe 2A is the line in the sand. It is the only protecting the edge of the cliff from the ravine a mile below. Many know or at least feel it.
