Just now I put up a post linking to a Washington Post article about simulated violence in football.
“Not parody”, I said, and mocked its author.
I’ve changed my mind, and taken down the post. The article is parody — well done, and richly deserved.
A good example of Poe’s Law, either way.

Hmm, “richly deserved” being key.
Josh Norman was called for a 15-yard penalty because of his “bow-and-arrow” gesture after the interception. I wonder what the penalty is for the “tomahawk chop”?
How about the “bird flip”? “Crotch grab”? “Nose pick” with gloves on? Mooning with dropped trousers? An on-field dump without dropped trousers? What about an ineligible receiver pissing downfield? Into the wind?
Honestly, political correctness has really gone too far this time!

Apparently TheBigHenry, you’re unfamiliar with The Alaskan Beer Kerfuffle.

I was not familiar with that kerfuffle. Do they also brew a “Potato Peeler” beer? I’m a meat and potato kind of guy.
