Recently the social-sciences scholar Charles Murray was assailed by a hate-filled audience at Middlebury College. It happened again today in a Congressional committee room.

    They almost look bored with their own ritual denunciations. It’s like Muslims hurriedly mumbling “Peace be upon him” after the name of a prophet, but with a curse, rather than a blessing. I’m surprised they didn’t spit in his face to ward off the Evil Eye, then kiss their magic amulets.
