Tales From The Swamp

Once again, here’s the indispensable Andrew McCarthy, former Federal prosecutor, on the Mueller investigation. In his latest essay, he compares it to the way the Obama DOJ handled its investigation of Hillary Clinton. The contrast is instructive, and sorely vexing.

Oooops! Apologies to all. (I was on the road all day, and couldn’t fix the missing link until just now.)

And thanks, JK: that first link you offered was the one I’d had in mind.

Manafort-hardball tactics. This is sounding very “Soviet Union” with the degree legal blinders are used to go to extreme in one case that appears to be no case at all…against the ultimate target, and that target is NOT Trump. It is all of us who voted for him and back him to this day.

Anything that mentions the ready made case about the Obama DOJ, Comey and HRC etc, is not a concern at all. Mueller may end up touching off much worse than partisan civil war. The kind of war this time around will mean Trump, who will not back down or be quiet like a good Republican, will take to the Twitter arsenal and mobilize the base to get involved. It may also split the FBI into opposite camps. Maybe more. The never ending legacy of Obama/Hillary regime. Trash!
