You’ve probably heard about the Alfie Evans affair in England, in which Her Majesty’s Government, having decided that a young boy in a persistent coma ought to be dead, has been trying to kill him, and has prevented his parents from taking him elsewhere for treatment. It’s a disgusting and horrifying story, and should remind all of us frogs that the temperature in the pot is rising.

Alfie’s treatment has rightly provoked a good deal of outrage — so much, in fact, that it wants tamping down. To that end, the local police have informed the public:

Chief Inspector Chris Gibson said: “Merseyside Police has been made aware of a number of social media posts which have been made with reference to Alder Hey Hospital and the ongoing situation involving Alfie Evans.
“I would like to make people aware that these posts are being monitored and remind social media users that any offences including malicious communications and threatening behaviour will be investigated and where necessary will be acted upon.’
What year is it again? Oh, that’s right: 1983.

I was just reading up on this. What do you think is the motivation of the British authorities? As far as I can tell, letting the child be taken to Italy would cost them absolutely nothing and not letting him go will have no real benefits for them or anyone. Do they just want the child to die? Is it that they can’t bear the idea that one of their authoritative decisions about the value of life is being challenged? Do they want to make an example–show their “citizens” that they have total power, that judges and bureaucrats and other “experts” decide the value of life? I can’t think of any motivation that isn’t evil.

I think that’s it exactly — together with the belief that they actually do know what’s best for the boy, and a worldview that sees no intrinsic value to life.
The single payer is the single decider. I suppose the British public will bow to the police about minding their comments too. If ever a Western nation needed a civilized civil uprising, Britain might be it.
The UK and Sweden are the two countries that may have passed the poz event horizon alreasy.
Sweden is just typical feminist hubris turned up to eleven and a population too small to turn it around. It’s a statistical thing. Not only did Sweden get its HBD wrong, it got its math wrong too. In all other countries it’s not actually the Muslims but the leftist whites that are the central problem. In Sweden the arrogant progs lost control. The Muslims themselves have passed a critical point in demographic representation. The genie cannot be put back in the lamp.
UK is different and the Sadiq Khan thing gets at the heart of it. Lack of control is not exactly the problem. It is how ADVANCED their political structures, the formal instruments of power, are vis-a-vis their calibration with the poz. It’s like the government saw the future so clearly 25 years ago and set up their hate speech, personal freedom, surveillance infrastructure accordingly.
In all other countriesthe problem is the cultural revolution. In UK the revolution is over. The conservative party institutes speech bans and tranny privelige. The consolidation phase begins.
I read somewhere the UK has 25% of all cctv cameras in the world. Not china. Not north Korea. The UK.

The unrecognized importance of the separation of power.
No independent (non-government) medical organization could have the power to prevent parents from seeking help in another country.
If such an organization tried the government could intervene to protect the citizens.
But if government itself becomes the medical organization all is lost.
