    I would change “The American People: Material Cause” to “Anglo-Saxon Settlers: Material Cause.”

    Right, Bob. I had originally thought to write “The particular American People”, to acknowledge the same point.

    I’ve “settled” on what I think is a suitable edit. Thanks.
