The lovely Nina and I are off to Charleston, SC for a few days. (We’d heard it’s nice, so we thought we’d go and see for ourselves.) Back next week.

    You should enjoy Charleston. A uniquely American/Southern city. Avoid the ghost tours though.

    You might want to get Mary Chesnut’s famous diary, which records experiences she had in S.C. during the Civil War.
