Red America, Cont’d

A lively discussion has ensued in the comment-thread to our previous post. Commenter “vxxc” argues that my assessment of the natural assets of the Red coalition is too optimistic: that our lack, so far, of functional organization puts us at a lethal disadvantage in the gathering struggle. I, on the other hand, think this is too dark a prognosis.

Often I promote these discussions to a new post of their own, but I’d like to keep this thread intact. The conversation continues here.

VXXC I worry “literally” says it about right.

I think frankly he knows the battlefield of which, the greater number of us imagine. Most of us grown lazy, timid, too reluctant to buck the trend. We think too highly of ourselves.

‘Selves’ I guess not enough conspicuous.

I’m fine. Got six months of rations a Sawyer water five gallon bucket filtration kit and all my neighbors’ cellphone numbers.

Which is good so long as we forget we can direct directly a GBU quite adroitly atop an individual’s ‘phone to phone’ since the forgetfulness that there’s flashing Morse, semaphore hell or hell even smoke signals.

    And, common interests.

It’s all well and good “we” think ourselves united in purpose and aim but are we employing couriers?

Nope we’re talking “privately” on the Internet thinking, This way we will organize!

(The Neolithic Afghans just recently having took the “most technologically advanced military in the world” essentially to where “we” find ourselves so easily overlooked.)

That “We” who find ourselves walking into water features (or in the path of buses owing to our “need” to outdo however many cabbages “our enemy” has in the row on Farmville are “prepared” to do unto others before they do unto us are “prepped” better’n “they” are rather than “we” are seems a bit more than, just a little overoptimistic to me & sorry about that.

The “Left” (such as we recognize it in CONUS) is far far and away farther along where organization is concerned – “Most” of us – my analysis/opinion – “think” these folk are a rabble but as Erdogan has repeatedly told us otherwise they’re not

    – Witness France the last few days –

“The Left” as our … hmmm ‘agenda’d media’ would have us believe is something else entirely.

Some History few of us know anything of:

    Know your enemy.

And recognize organization doesn’t happen on the internet.

“Know your enemy”. True. Also, know those among you who will side with your enemy if they see advantage. We need an outcome before we go off the deep end as to what should happen.

No, under no circumstances organize on the web.

I am merely pointing out there’s little to nothing done in reality. That will cost us dear.

Stick to who you know, locally, small.
The truck rallies are more than fine, they’re wonderful
(Logistics is war. Battle is tactics. The former harder than the other in ramp up time, and so vital)

In terms of the sharp end, 8 is enough.
    8 is a squad.
Armies do not build squads; many squads make an army. Small and cohesive, “well regulated” that is trained is what’s so important,
That’s why NCOs are so important.

For now, stick to who you know, and who knows what they’re doing, scaling isn’t as hard as you think if you have a lot of small, well made parts.

    And keep quiet, and legal.
    Stay legal, even in speech.

If rescue/ volunteer Cajun Navy opportunities arise take them and help out.

No manifesto needed, no code other than discretion, commitment, common sense. No arguing fine points of theory, the gender if angels, etc.
We have no shortage of manifestos – what we need are men.

    My manifesto the Republic.

    Cheers
