Noticing

Over American Greatness, Jeremy Carl discusses Steve Sailer’s new book, and the man himself. (If you don’t know who Steve Sailer is, you should; he is arguably the sharpest and most influential American thinker and writer of the last quarter-century, and were it not for the suffocating taboos enforced by our cultural commissars, he would be as famous as he deserves.)

I first became aware of Steve Sailer over ten years ago when I lived in Carmel. Thanks for highlighting this review and refocusing attention on Mr. Sailer. He writes a lot at the Unz Review; you probably already know this, but here is a link: https://www.unz.com/isteve/

Thanks for the reminder. I used to read Sailer’s posts on Twitter regularly before Musk walled Twitter off. On Unz, too, but somehow got distracted and stopped. Until now. Sailer will definitely open ones eyes to what really going on, if one lets him.

Sailer is the most influential social critic of the past 20 years that most serious writers claim to have never heard of.

It’s pretty well known that any number of middle of the road “conservative” writers, many working for legacy media outlets, have been reading Sailer for years, but they can’t admit it publicly lest they get cast into the outer darkness like Sailer himself.

I have read Steve practically everyday for 15 years, and I’m glad he’s getting some recognition for his tireless commitment to noticing what many in our society choose to look away from.
