This ‘endless series of imaginary hobgoblins’ has long been known. What we actually don’t have is a ‘President Problem, no folks what we actually do have is a Congress Critter (both chambers) problem:

I find Flynn to be too much, but I think he does allude to something significant in scenario three – whether the Trump administration will be able to engage in more than token deportations. Many Americans – myself included, although I can see why they’re a necessary component of law enforcement – will naturally flinch from the harshness of transporting illegals back to their countries of origin. How will people react when parents are separated from children as the former are sent south? I guess we’re going to find out.
Jason: The only flinching I will be doing is from Americans who stand in the way of the deportations, like that revolting (pun intended) mayor of Denver.
