   My brain seems to have a lot of weaknesses — e.g., poor memory (both short- and long-term) — but the whole appears to work in some sort of concert that achieves results greater than might be expected from the capacities of the constituent parts.

   Is it true? I suppose you could argue that both ways. Certainly many smart people have met their downfall because of one very bad idea.

   Charles, if a blog is only as strong as its weakest post, it’s no wonder I still have that day job.
