You’ve probably seen it by now, but here’s Lindsey Graham at today’s hearing.
I’ve never been much of a fan of the man, to put it mildly — but this new, red-pilled Lindsey Graham is something else again.

The man was on fire angry! Seems losing his long time friend might have helped him see his “friends” in the other party more clearly. I hope Graham keeps a steady supply of Red Pills.
I consider I’ll need do a reassessment of the totality of my thinking where Senator Graham is concerned.
I wonder though: might anyone know if Bab al-Azizia is lovely this time of year?
Superb speech! I understand Kavanaugh has been voted out of committee with a complete Republican yes vote. Now for the Senate, in which it is rumored he will get all the Republican votes plus possibly a few Democrats.
Note to Malcolm: The link in your post doesn’t go to Senator Graham’s speech. I found it quickly however.
That was actually pretty good! I can’t believe it. We can only hope that people on Team Not-Insane begin to notice that rational arguments and open contempt for degeneracy work better than coddling. Maybe the next time this happens someone will be an adult earlier on.
If this is what mass democracy becomes, we need a right-wing dictatorship. We have millions of people, apparently, who not only think it’s impossible for women to lie or confabulate or imagine things, but that it’s morally wrong to allow the mere _possibility_ that some inherently absurd claim might be false so long as the person making the claim has a vagina. (Or rather, is a “woman”, whatever that means to them at this point.)
Thanks Bill — I’ve corrected the link.
Jacques, nice to see you here again.
If the Dems on that committee managed to radicalize even Lindsey Graham, just think what they’ve probably done to millions of voters.
(Readers – see Bill Vallicella’s recent posts on Democrat insanity, with comments by Jacques and me. Here and here.)
Hi Malcolm!
They’ve really cranked the temperature with this stuff. The frogs are feeling something, I hope.
They’re now telling the world: There is not a single principle of justice or logic or common sense that we won’t destroy for the sake of power. Nothing is true, nothing matters, except our power.
For me observing the credulity and fanaticism of so many apparently normal people is the most mind-blowing thing. I could sort-of half-understand how people came to believe Trayvon was an innocent little kid. But here they’re not just ignorant of some relevant facts but rather they’re denying self-evident truths–that memories and testimony can be unreliable, that believing X doesn’t make X true, that women are capable of lying, and so on. They say the only evidence we ever need is that some woman somewhere has said so.
For the good of society these people have to be disenfranchised. This is proof of moral-intellectual imbecility.
Watching live, the vote was 11 to 8 yes.
Kavanaugh nomination now goes to the Senate.
Jacques,
And that’s exactly how they feel about us. So: what happens now?
Lindsey Graham:
It appears to me that the old order is on its deathbed. We enter an era of bitter, uncompromising political war.
