Hope yours was joyful and relaxing, Malcolm, and fellow-commenters. I started out grinchy, but she got me back on track, and it was even merry. Met one daughter’s new boyfriend, a fine man. I roasted a leg of lamb with fresh homemade mint sauce, made a scalloped potato mushroom bacon casserole and steamed ginger asparagus, cinnamon rolls. Others also brought salads & desserts. Thought about and felt some higher better things. Been a long and full Christmas Day. I can face the rest of the year now.
