“Thing Of The Past” Snarls UK Traffic, Causes Chaos

Here’s a nice juxtaposition of news items from across the Big Ditch. The first, published in The Independent back on March 20th, 2000, glumly informed Brits that:

Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past.

Zip forward a decade or so, and we have this:

Coldest December since records began as temperatures plummet to minus 10C bringing travel chaos across Britain.

    “Maybe” I can accomplish this – of course this kinda stuff only interests nerdy types which might show more than I want since I’ve got it bookmarked. The weather truly is weird. What the loop is “actually” showing (I hope) is water vapor. But if you watch how the time elapses as the water moves – it kinda like watching off the coast of Africa during hurricane season.

    Except Africa is not on this grid.
