If you haven’t already seen photographs, here is what happened in Vancouver when the Canucks lost the Stanley cup to Boston last night (after taking the first two games of the series).

    Perhaps I shouldn’t be startled. It’s something about Canada and hockey.

    The whole thing rather reinforces the idea of sports teams as tribal war proxies…

    Wow. You wouldn’t expect Canadians to act like lager louts or Eagles fans.

    As I’m sure you’ve heard, Weiner pulls out. A grateful nation breathes a sign of relief.

    Now he can run for President with the Attorney General on the Wiener Holder ticket.

    Also nice to see that he’s hooked up with Ginger Lee. The best way to handle a Wiener is ginger-lee.

    She would do a much better job than someone who handles a Wiener like she is trying to start a lawn mower.
