Kim Jong Il has died. This is going to be interesting.

  1. That’s what they’re reporting, along with news of tearful NK anchors. I’m not optimistic that this will lead to any radical changes, though. Kimism (pace Wikipedia’s entry on Kim Jong-il and his possible successors) is still alive and well. Unfortunately.

    Interesting that he died the same week as Vaclev Havel. Hard to imagine two more dissimilar leaders.

    For starters, only one of them hung out with Frank Zappa.
