    This and the PT Barnum link were quite cool. I did, however, wonder a bit about how faithfully the Barnum text had been rendered, because some of the locutions in it struck me as downright modern– 1990s or early-aughts English. Your thoughts?

    Why no, Kevin, in fact I thought the Barnum prose style seemed entirely of its time. Was there some particular passage that caught your attention?

    I’d have to dig through it, but yeah, there were phrases here and there that sounded way too modern. It’s probably just me.
