    Had my family all together for the first time in years today…and last night. It was… significant. No tree, no lights, no decorations, no gifts, no carols, no trappings. Just visiting late into the night and all day, sharing deeply and helping each other mend from all the insults flung at us by the mendacious and careless entities of the world over the last several years, and discussion of preparing for what is/may be coming.
    So it was the best possible Christmas for us, given the potential for the destructive currents afoot. Light shines in the darkness, and darkness gropes uncomprehending.
